Meet Our Team

Ronald Richard
Owner, Attorney

Originally from Lake Charles, Louisiana, Ron is a graduate of LaGrange High School, holds a bachelor’s of art in history from the University of Houston and earned a juris doctorate from the Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law School. He was admitted to the Bar in 1996 and in that same year, served as a judicial clerk in the Fourteenth Judicial District Court. Ron went into private practice in 1997 as a founding partner of Richard Law Firm, LLC. He was elected Judge, Lake Charles City Court, Division B, in December 2020 and took the bench January 1, 2021. Ron is an active member of the Southwest Louisiana Bar Association, the Louisiana Bar Association, the Louisiana City Court Judges Association and the Texas Bar Association.

Ron is past chair of the Community Action Committee of the Louisiana Bar Association, as well as a three-time recipient of the Fidelity Club Award with his company, Landmark Title Company. He serves as a Trustee for the Lake Charles Charter School Foundation and is on the Advisory Board for Jeff Davis Bank. He serves on the boards of the Local Heart Foundation, the SWLA Home Builders Association, Community Advisory Council for CHRISTUS Ochsner SWLA Foundation, McNeese Quarterback Club and Girly Girls Mentoring, Inc. Ron has been a primary sponsor of the MLK Coalition for over 15 years, for which he was recognized as the first-time recipient of the MLK Coalition Lifetime Achievement Award in 2020.

Krystal S. Delaney
Real Estate Closer & Notary Public

Originally from Lake Charles, Louisiana, Krystal has worked with Landmark Title for three years but collectively has 26 years of experience. She is a licensed Notary Public, certified Real Estate Closer and Escrow Officer. Krystal enjoys spending time with her son, who has autism, and assisting with fundraisers and events benefiting children on the autism spectrum through the St. Nicholas Center for Children, The Autism Society and St. Louis Catholic High School. She is also a member of the SWLAR Affiliates and McNeese State University Quarterback Club. Krystal’s favorite thing about Southwest Louisiana is the strong community.
